Where an account's sent and received faxes actually live, and how the outgoing job queue moves a fax from submitted to delivered.
A fax account is the workspace tied to a fax number: its contacts, settings, and every fax that number has sent or received all live inside it. Signing in shows one account's individual fax records, organized under tabs like Inbox and Sent. An account that brought its number over through number porting keeps that same storage and job queue behavior afterward, nothing changes about how faxes are stored just because the number itself moved providers.
Every fax kept in that storage is a real record: whatever was actually sent, plus, once delivery completes, proof it went through.
Before a fax finishes sending, it sits in the account's job queue, the list of outgoing faxes still waiting their turn. The total attached-page limit for a single fax is 30 on Free, 60 on Basic, 90 on Premium, 200 on Business, and 250 on Enterprise. This limit applies across all files attached to that fax and is separate from the plan's monthly page allowance. See the current per-fax page limits. A Word file ready to fax moves through that same queue and storage as any other format, and a fax later sent on to a new destination through forwarding still passes through it on its way out.
A Common Case: A Busy Referral Day
A large healthcare provider in Michigan keeps thousands of sent and received faxes stored under one account, organized by Inbox and Sent. On a day with a heavy run of referrals going out, the records team watches the outgoing job queue to confirm every fax has cleared before the end of the shift, rather than assuming each one went through.
The total number of attached pages allowed in one fax is 30 on Free, 60 on Basic, 90 on Premium, 200 on Business, and 250 on Enterprise. This applies across all files attached to that fax and is separate from the monthly page allowance.
Storage holds every fax already sent or received, organized under folders like Inbox and Sent. The job queue is just the list of outgoing faxes still waiting to send, including ones scheduled for later.
