Receive faxes on your computer or phone with a dedicated Fax.Plus number.

Once your paid plan and fax number are active, follow these steps to find and download incoming faxes.
Give the sender your Fax.Plus number, including its country and area code. They can send their document to that number using a fax machine or an online fax service.
Sign in to Fax.Plus on your computer or phone. Go to Faxes and select Inbox to find the document sent to your fax number.
On the web app, go to Faxes > Inbox. Select More (⋮) next to the received fax, then Download to save a copy to your computer.
You can enable email notifications with the received fax attached, according to your account settings. Notifications without attachments are also available. Accounts with Advanced Security Controls have additional requirements for email attachments.
Check whether your existing fax number can be ported to Fax.Plus before subscribing. Keep your current fax service active until the transfer is confirmed complete.
Use Fax.Plus to receive documents without a fax machine, keep your number where eligible, and access incoming faxes from your devices.
No. Receiving faxes with Fax.Plus requires an active paid plan, a dedicated fax number and enough remaining pages for the incoming document. Creating a free account alone does not enable incoming faxes. Check the plan allowance and number options before subscribing.
Stored fax documents are encrypted using 256-bit AES, with a unique encryption key for each user. Fax.Plus supports HIPAA-compliant faxing on Enterprise with Advanced Security Controls and a signed BAA.
Yes. Fax.Plus can receive incoming faxes while your device is offline, provided your paid plan is active and enough pages remain. You need an internet connection to access the received document in your Fax.Plus Inbox or email.
The time depends on the number of pages, the document’s content and the transmission speed. Wait for the sender’s transmission to finish before checking for the complete fax. Receiving is not guaranteed to be instantaneous.
Confirm that the sender used your current fax number, including the country and area code. Check that your paid plan is active and enough pages remain, then look in Faxes > Inbox. If you expected an email notification, also check your notification settings and spam folder.
Set up email delivery, use your preferred device, or compare fax number options for incoming documents.
