Find your fax numbers
What fax numbers do I have?

Ask your connected AI assistant to find your Fax.Plus numbers. Follow a read-only lookup, review the result, and understand empty responses and errors.
Find the fax numbers associated with your Fax.Plus account without leaving your connected AI assistant. Ask a simple question, review the numbers returned, and organize the information into a useful summary.
For connection help, see the Fax.Plus MCP setup hub and the client connection guide.
list-numbers.The lookup is read-only. It does not buy a number, change assignments or send a fax.
Use one of these prompts to retrieve your numbers or organize the information returned by the lookup. The filtering and formatting instructions apply to the returned list. Available fields and responses can vary; ask the assistant to identify missing information rather than guess.

Show active numbers
Use list-numbers to retrieve my Fax.Plus numbers, then show only entries whose returned status is active. If status is missing, say so.
Make a simple table
Use list-numbers and put the returned fax numbers and their status in a table. Do not include account IDs, owner IDs or notification settings.
Get a private summary
Use list-numbers and tell me how many entries were returned and which statuses appear. Do not include fax numbers, email addresses or private identifiers. If the lookup fails, say so.
A successful lookup can return fax numbers and related information such as status and acquisition date. Use the fields present in your response; do not ask the assistant to invent missing details.
If the lookup succeeds with no entries, the returned list is empty. If the tool is unavailable or reports a failure, the lookup did not succeed; that does not establish that the account has no numbers. Check the connection and account access before trying again.
When completeness matters, ask whether the response indicates more results or a visibility limit. Keep full numbers and account identifiers out of shared screenshots or summaries.
Explore the MCP setup hub and the official Numbers tool catalog for connection instructions and other number-related tools.
No. The list-numbers tool retrieves number information. Sending a fax is a separate action.
Yes. Ask the assistant to organize the returned information using one of the examples above. It should use only the fields available in the lookup response.
Check that the existing Fax.Plus connection is available in your client, that it uses the intended account and that the account meets the requirements above. Consult the connection guide or Alohi Help Center if setup needs attention.
Use the private-summary prompt. Review the answer before sharing it, and remove full fax numbers, email addresses and private identifiers.
Not always. A successful lookup that returns no entries means the returned list is empty. If the assistant says the tool is unavailable or the lookup failed, the lookup did not succeed, and that does not show that your account has no numbers. Check that FaxPlus is connected and enabled in the conversation, that the account is on a paid plan (Basic or higher) without Advanced Security Controls, and try again.
