Each notification that appears in Teams includes the sender or recipient number, the fax status, a direct link to view the document in Fax.Plus, and optionally the fax file itself as an attachment when it is within the supported file-size limit.

Which Fax.Plus plan is required for the Microsoft Teams integration?

A Business or Enterprise plan, and the account connecting the bot must have the Owner or Admin role. Both conditions are required. If you see a "you don't have permission to use this app" message, check your plan and role in your Fax.Plus account settings before trying again.

Can I connect more than one Fax.Plus account to the same Teams channel?

No. Each Teams channel or chat can only be linked to one Fax.Plus account at a time. If your team uses multiple Fax.Plus accounts, set up a separate dedicated channel with its own bot instance for each one.

What happens if a fax fails to send?

You'll get a delivery-status notification in Teams with the failed fax's details and a direct link back to Fax.Plus, where you can review and retry sending it.

Do faxes stay secure if I only use Teams for notifications?

Yes. You can choose to receive status alerts and new-fax notifications in Teams while keeping the actual faxes encrypted in your Fax.Plus archive, rather than stored in Teams itself.
