Sav-Rx: Fax Numbers for Prior Authorization

Is fax still accepted at Sav-Rx?

Sav-Rx confirms two separate, current fax numbers on its own site: (888) 810-1394 for Prior Authorization requests, and (402) 753-2890 for general prescription fax. Nothing on savrx.com frames either as being phased out. Email (PriorAuth@SavRx.com) and a portal through Sav-Rx's processor, MedImpact (pharmacy.medimpact.com), exist as alternatives, not stated replacements.

What replaced fax at Sav-Rx?

Nothing has replaced fax. Email and a MedImpact-hosted portal coexist as alternatives, useful when a provider's system already integrates with MedImpact, but Sav-Rx's own materials don't frame fax as legacy.

Which route should I use?

1. Use the Prior Auth fax specifically for prior authorization requests, not the prescription fax.
2. Use the Prescription fax for general prescription-related documentation.
3. Consider email (PriorAuth@SavRx.com) if a written record trail matters more than speed.
