Fax.Plus MCP server name
FaxPlus

Connect Fax.Plus MCP to Claude with OAuth, review access permissions, and make the connection available in your conversations.
This setup uses OAuth, so you do not need to create a Personal Access Token. Check the Fax.Plus MCP requirements.
Menu labels may differ: Claude's current guide also places Connectors under Customize.
Open your profile menu and select Settings → Connectors. Click Add → Add custom connector. If your organization already provides Fax.Plus, select the existing connector and go directly to sign-in.
What you should seeThe custom connector form, or the existing connector supplied by your organization.
Under Authentication, select Sign in now. Under OAuth client, select Register automatically. Review the settings and click Add. Follow any different configuration supplied by your organization.
What you should seeFaxPlus in the connector list with a Connect option.
Select Connect. Sign in on the Fax.Plus page using the account you want Claude to access. Review the requested permissions before approving them, then return to Claude.
What you should seeThe connected FaxPlus connector and its available tools.
Review the connector’s tool permissions. The available choices are:
Needs approval
Claude asks before the tool runs.
Always allow
The tool can run without a separate approval each time.
Blocked
Claude cannot use the tool.
Read-only lookups, such as listing your numbers or faxes, carry little risk. Keep every tool that sends faxes or changes or deletes records, for example sending or resending a fax, or deleting a fax or a contact, on Needs approval so that nothing happens without your confirmation. Block tools you do not need.
Your connection is ready. Open a new chat, select + → Connectors, and enable FaxPlus. Describe what you want to do and review any action-approval request before continuing.
Explore the Fax.Plus MCP overview for the tasks your connection can support.
No. OAuth connections are available on paid Fax.Plus plans starting with Basic. Enterprise is required for Personal Access Tokens. Your AI assistant has its own access requirements. See plan availability.
No. Fax.Plus MCP is unavailable for accounts with Advanced Security Controls enabled, including HIPAA and PHIPA configurations. Keep the security controls required by your organization in place and contact Alohi to discuss a suitable integration.
No. Use the remote connector setup and OAuth sign-in. Fax.Plus documents this as the simpler Claude Desktop connection path. A local MCP configuration file is a separate workflow. See the client connection guide.
Your organization controls connector availability. For this individual OAuth setup, each person connects their own eligible Fax.Plus account after an authorized owner or administrator makes the connector available. See Claude's managed-workspace instructions.
Connecting the connector and using it in a chat are separate steps. Open the conversation, select + → Connectors and make sure FaxPlus is enabled. Also check the connector's tool permissions: tools set to Blocked cannot run, and tools set to Needs approval wait for your confirmation. If FaxPlus is missing from the list, go back to Settings → Connectors and confirm that it shows as connected.
Fax.Plus MCP needs a paid plan, Basic or higher. The Free plan is not supported. It is also unavailable for accounts with Advanced Security Controls enabled, including HIPAA and PHIPA configurations. Check the plan and security settings of the account you signed in with, and confirm that you used the intended account if you have more than one. See plan availability.
The authorization may not have finished. Return to your assistant, complete the Fax.Plus sign-in and refresh the connection. In Claude, reopen the connector under Settings → Connectors. In ChatGPT, select Refresh. Tools set to Blocked in the permissions also cannot be used. If the problem continues, contact Alohi Support with the client name and the error. Do not include passwords or tokens.
