Sending faxes via Google Drive

To send PDF files or other supported file types, ensure that Google fax is enabled by installing the extension and creating an account with your Google account details, then proceed with the following simple steps:

  1. Access Your Document: Navigate to Google Drive and locate the document you wish to fax.
  2. Select Fax.Plus: Right-click on the file, then hover over Open With and choose Fax.Plus from the options. (If Fax.Plus isn't visible, ensure you've installed the extension correctly.)
  3. Log In or Sign Up: Log in to your Fax.Plus account or create a new one for free. Grant the Fax.Plus extension the necessary permissions.
  4. Enter Recipient's Fax Number: Provide the recipient's fax number, then proceed to send your document hassle-free.

Sending faxes via Google Docs & Google Sheets

Fax.Plus seamlessly integrates with Google Docs and Google Sheets, allowing you to fax your documents and spreadsheets directly. Here's how:

  • Access Your Document: Open the document or spreadsheet you want to fax.

  • Access Fax.Plus Add-on: Click on Add-on in the menu bar, then select Fax.Plus - Fax your document. Click on Send to open the Fax.Plus sidebar menu.

  • Log In and Send: Log in to your Fax.Plus account (or create one using your Google credentials), then enter the recipient's fax number. Click Send Fax to send your document hassle-free.

Sending faxes via Gmail

If you use your Google account to create a user on Fax.Plus, you can utilize the email to fax feature and send fax from Gmail. You will also receive your incoming faxes right into your Gmail inbox.

  • Compose Your Email: In the To field, add the recipient’s fax number followed by the @fax.plus (for example, +16692001010@fax.plus).

  • Attach Documents: Attach the documents you want to fax.

  • Send Your Fax: Click on Send to fax immediately and get an email confirmation of successful delivery.

To receive incoming faxes into your Gmail inbox and get the most of the Google fax feature, you must simply go to your settings on your Fax.Plus account, and turn on your notifications with the On switch button.
