How can I assign a number to a user? (Business & Enterprise)

There are two different methods to assign a number to a user:

First method:

1. Go to the FAX.PLUS website and login to your account

2. Go to the Numbers tab and find the number you want to assign to a user. Click on the More button (3-dot icon) followed by the Assign to option

>> The list of users with no assigned number appears

3. Select a user from the list and the number will be assigned to that user

>> An email is sent to the user to inform him/her about the assigned number.

 

Second method:

1. Go to the FAX.PLUS website and login to your account

2. Go to the Users tab and select the user you want to assign a number to. Click on the More button followed by the Edit option

3. Click on the “Please Choose …” button next to the Fax Number field to view the list of fax numbers that haven’t been assigned to a user yet

4. Select a fax number from the list and then click on Confirm to assign the selected number to the specified user.

Only account’s administrator can perform this operation.

Administrator features are only available on the FAX.PLUS web app.
