What is a fax header and how can I change it?

The header of your fax shows information about the date and time, sender and receiver’s fax numbers, the number of pages of that specific fax, as well as a customizable text (fax header). Note that the timestamp is based on the timezone of the sender.

Here is how the fax header is shown for the recipient for different plans:

Modification of the fax header is available to all FAX.PLUS users. However, for users with a fax number on their profile (Basic, Premium, Business, and Enterprise plans) their fax number will be shown on the header in the From field, and for users enrolled in the Free plan, “From: WWW.FAX.PLUS” will be shown. Here is how to proceed:

1. Go to Profile and look for My Fax box under the General tab

2. From the top right of the box, click on Edit

3. Next to the Fax Header field, enter your new fax header

4. Click on Save

1. Go to Profile, then select My Fax

2. Press the FAX Header field to edit the fax header

3. Press OK to save your new fax header

1. Go to Profile, then select My Fax

2. Press the FAX Header field to edit the fax header
