How can I set my default payment method on Fax.Plus?

A default payment method is employed for the automatic renewal of your plan at the end of each month. When you add credit to your account or procure a plan via Android or the Web, your credit card or PayPal information is automatically stored on your account for future transactions.

Follow these steps to set a default payment method, update your payment method, or adjust your existing default payment method:

Web App Android
  1. Login to your Fax.Plus account, and go the Profile section on your Dashboard.
  2. Under the tab for Plan & Billing, look for the box for Payment Details (Company Credit for Business and Enterprise plans).
  3. Find the field for Payment Method, and click on Manage.
    • In cases where no credit card or PayPal account is registered:

      1. Fill in your credit card information, and click on Add Credit Card, or simply login to your PayPal account by clicking on the link for PayPal.
      2. Next, your credit card or PayPal account will be displayed in Payment Method as default payment with a Star icon.
    • In cases where a credit card or PayPal account is registered, you can click on More (⋮) next to your currently existing credit card or PayPal account and choose Set as Default. Or, you can alternatively add a new credit card or PayPal account for your default payment method by following the next steps:

      1. Click on Add a Payment Method.
      2. Fill in your credit card information, and click on Add Credit Card, or simply login to your PayPal account by clicking on the link for PayPal.
      3. Next, your credit card or PayPal account will be displayed in Payment Method.

Note: Our payment processing for both our Web and Android applications relies on two PCI-DSS compliant services: Stripe, responsible for credit card payments, PayPal, which handles PayPal payments and Google Pay. Please note that we do not store any credit card information; rather, we securely retain only anonymized tokens as supplied by these services.
